Find an answer, or ask the eHelp team. Real people read every request.

In danger right now? Contact local emergency services first (in India, dial 112). eHelp is not an emergency service.

Payments

How does paying for a task work?

You pay through eHelp before the work starts. eHelp holds the money while the work is done and releases it to the helper when you both confirm the work is complete.

See Payments and Billing Terms.

What fees do I pay?

Any customer fee is shown on the checkout page before you pay, and it is saved with your payment. Fee changes never affect a payment already made.

My payment failed. Was I charged?

No. A failed payment attempt is not charged. You can try again from the task page. If money left your account but the task still shows unpaid, contact support with the task linked and we will check with the payment processor.

How long does a refund take?

Refunds go back to the original payment method. The time it takes depends on your bank or card provider; it is often a few working days. You can follow each refund on the payment page.

Payouts

When can I withdraw my earnings?

Once the customer confirms the work (or the task is confirmed automatically), your earnings move to your available balance, after any settlement delay shown on the task. You can then request a payout from My earnings. eHelp sends it to your UPI or bank account within 1 to 7 working days (Monday to Friday).

Which payout methods can I use?

A UPI ID or a bank account in your name. Your details are stored encrypted and shown to staff only when a payout needs them.

Why is my payout on hold?

Payouts can be held while an account is under review or suspended, or while a related dispute is open. Your earnings are not removed. Contact support if you are unsure why a payout is waiting.

Tasks

What is a task?

Every agreed job becomes a task: the place to agree a time, track progress, pay, confirm completion and leave reviews.

What happens if I cancel?

The task page shows what would happen before you confirm a cancellation: who is cancelling, how much would be refunded and what happens next. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The other person says the work is done but it is not.

Tell them on the task page what still needs doing (decline the completion). If you cannot agree and eHelp still holds the money, open a dispute from the task page.

Services

Why was my service rejected?

Listings must not contain contact or payment details (phone numbers, UPI IDs, payment links, bank details). Remove them and keep that conversation in eHelp messages.

My service is inactive and I can't activate it.

Your account may have a restriction on services. Check Account safety for details and appeal options.

Communities

Can I charge for help in a community?

Community Help is free. If help turns into paid work, send a custom offer in messages so the customer pays through eHelp.

I was removed or banned from a community.

Community moderators decide who can take part in their community. If you think the platform rules were applied unfairly, contact support. A moderator cannot see your private information.

How do I report a post or comment?

Use the Report link on the post or comment. Community moderators and eHelp both see reports about community content.

Account

I can't sign in.

Use Forgot password. If your account is suspended, you can still sign in to see your account status, appeal and contact support.

How do I sign out on other devices?

Go to Account safety and choose Sign out everywhere else.

How do I close my account?

Go to Privacy and choose Close my account. We will show you anything that needs finishing first, such as open tasks, held payments or earnings to withdraw.

Verification

What does "Identity Verified" mean?

eHelp checked a government ID and the name on it at that time. It is not a background check or a qualification check. Only the last 4 characters of the ID are kept, and the photo is deleted after review.

My verification was rejected.

Open Verification to see why, then try again with a clear photo where the name matches your account.

Reviews

Can eHelp remove a negative review?

Not because it is negative. Reviews are removed only when they break the Review Policy, for example threats, personal information, fake reviews or extortion. You can reply publicly once.

Someone offered me a refund to change my review.

That is not allowed. Report the message or the review so we can look into it.

Safety

I feel unsafe right now.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In India, dial 112. Then report the member on eHelp and block them.

Someone asked me to pay outside eHelp.

Don't. Payments outside eHelp are not protected. Report the message; eHelp may already have blocked or flagged it.

What happens when I report someone?

Our team reviews it. The member is not told who reported them. We may not share the outcome, but you can see the status of your reports in Account safety.

Privacy

What can other members see about me?

Your public profile, public activity and reviews. Never your email address, exact location, payout details or identity documents. The Privacy Center shows exactly what is public and what is private.

How do I download my data?

Open the Privacy Center and choose Download my data. The file is ready straight away and the link works for 7 days.

Can I have my data deleted?

You can close your account and ask for deletion. Some records (such as payments, invoices, legal acceptance and safety records) must be kept; the Privacy Center explains which.

Other

Is eHelp an emergency or medical service?
Where are the legal documents?

In the Legal Center.
