Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies eHelp actually uses. It is kept in step with the code: if we ever add a new kind of cookie, this page will change first, and optional cookies will only be set after you agree.
Cookies eHelp sets
All of these are strictly necessary. The site cannot work securely without them, so there is no switch to turn them off.
- ehelp_session: keeps you signed in while you use the site, remembers short messages between pages and protects your forms against cross-site request forgery. It ends when you close your browser or after 8 hours without activity. If you arrived through a campaign link or a member's invite link, the session also remembers that (campaign labels, landing page, invite code) until you sign up; no separate cookie is set for it.
- ehelp_remember: only set if you tick "Keep me signed in". It lets you stay signed in for up to 30 days on that browser. Signing out, changing your password or using "Sign out everywhere" removes it.
Cookies set by others
- Payment checkout: when you pay, the checkout window is provided by our payment processor (Razorpay). It may set its own cookies that are needed to process the payment securely. Those cookies are controlled by the payment processor and covered by its own policies.
Other outside requests
- Font: your browser downloads the site's typeface from Google Fonts. Like any web request, this shares your IP address and browser details with Google. eHelp does not use it for tracking.
What eHelp does not use
eHelp does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or any cookie that follows you around other websites.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies above, you will not be able to sign in.
