We want eHelp to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
What we aim for
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as our reference. We have not had eHelp independently audited, so we do not claim that it fully meets that standard.
What we have done
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are shown next to the field they belong to.
- Text and buttons are designed to meet contrast guidelines.
- Layouts adapt to small screens and zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Menus and panels open and close with the keyboard.
Known limitations
- The payment window is provided by our payment processor and may have its own accessibility limitations.
- Photos uploaded by members may not have descriptions.
- Some older pages may still have issues we have not found yet.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on eHelp is hard to use, please tell us through the Support Center (choose "Account" or "Other") or at cs@ehelp.xyz. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you use, if any. We will use your feedback to fix problems.
