"Content" means anything members put on eHelp: profiles, photos, help requests, services, offers, community posts and comments, messages, reviews and replies.
Your content, your responsibility
You own your content and you are responsible for it. Only post content that you have the right to share and that is accurate. Do not post other people's personal information, photos or copyrighted material without permission.
The licence you give eHelp
So that eHelp can show your content to the people you share it with, you give eHelp the licence described in the Terms of Service. eHelp does not sell your content.
Content that is not allowed
Content that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy or the Community Guidelines, including scams, harassment, hate, threats, illegal or dangerous content, spam, personal information of others, contact or payment details in public listings and posts, and content that infringes someone's rights.
How moderation works
- Members report content. Community moderators handle their own communities. eHelp staff review reports and automatic safety signals.
- Content may be removed or hidden. When we remove your content, we tell you why, unless doing so would put someone at risk.
- Removed content is kept for a period as a record of what happened (for example for disputes, appeals or legal requests), but is no longer shown.
- Automatic checks can block content that clearly contains payment details or attempts to move payment off eHelp. Other automatic signals are reviewed by people.
Appeals
If a removal or another action can be appealed, the notice tells you how. See the Account Suspension and Termination Policy.
Intellectual property
Copyright and trademark complaints are handled under the Intellectual Property Policy.
