Community Help is help that members give each other for free, mostly through eHelp communities.
Community Help is
- Voluntary: nobody has to help, and anyone can stop at any time.
- Non-commercial: no money changes hands. If help turns into paid work, hire through eHelp so it is covered by eHelp's payment protection.
- Between members: eHelp provides the space; the help itself is given by members, not by eHelp.
Community Help is not
- A professional service: members who answer questions or help out are not presumed to have any professional qualification, and their answers are not professional advice.
- Employment: helping someone does not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship with them or with eHelp.
- Guaranteed: eHelp does not guarantee the accuracy of answers, the safety of any offline meeting or the outcome of any help.
Use it responsibly
Think about whether advice fits your situation, and get professional help where it matters (for example medical, legal or financial questions). Meeting in person is your decision; see the Safety Policy.
Our part
This disclaimer does not replace eHelp's safety tools. Communities are moderated, content can be reported and removed, members can be blocked, and eHelp acts on reports.
